This year was really just a test year for me. We had only moved into the house in April 2003 and was still getting the house and garden straightened out. Also it was the first year for USA 120v lights. So the idea this year was to see whether the house and the garden was big enough and looked right decked in thousands of mini lights. The electrics were a bit of a bodge job, quickly knocked up in a hurry. And not a lot of thought went into the layout. Still, even saying all of that I think it looked ok for a starter setup.

Also on test this year was how much electricity it would cost to run the lights. It worked out cheaper than I thought. About £20 for the season.
